As a result of the significant disruption that is being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic we are very aware that many researchers will has difficulty in meeting the timelines associated with our peer review process during normal times.  Please do let us know if you need additional time. Our systems will continue to remind you of the original timelines but we intend to be highly flexible at this time.

Introduction of Persian/English translation

Translation is the communication of the meaning of a source-language text by means of an equivalent target-language text. The English language draws a terminological distinction between translating and interpreting  under this distinction, translation can begin only after the appearance of writing within a language community such as Persian to English. Scope of Persian Language

Farsi, the most commonly-spoken language in Iran. Persian language (Farsi) known to its native Iranian speakers, is the official language of modern day Iran, parts of Afghanistan and the central Asian republic of Tajikistan.

For translation of the Persian chemistry text to English, The sentence and paragraph levels must semantically comparable to their English versions. As translation, the majority of lexicons must have translated correctly into Persian or English, while a small percentage of translated lexicons had a fair quality and incorrectly translated. The most of words must be translated correctly into Persian or English by translator. Moreover, the mean number of words in Persian paragraphs was considerably smaller than the mean words in English paragraphs.

Direct Farsi

High Persian/English translation

  • Persian/English translation of the chemistry and environmental texts must be semantically comparable to its source text in English/Persian at the level of lexicon with good translation recovery more than 95%.
  • Persian/English translation of the chemistry and environmental texts must be semantically comparable to its source text in English/Persian at the level of phrase.
